Warm but slippery

It is really a bit early to review the winter wrap at start of winter in December. The proof will be a successful overwinter. So far my impressions have been mixed...it was an easy install... but material is slippery...bees cannot land on it.... I had to make upper and lower landing boards with symbols so they knew where the entrances were... the outside was a black nothing that puffed up so much they had no idea where to get back in. The hive seems warmer with over R20 top insulation I added as they are breaking cluster more even a late brood. I used remembrance day poppies on one hive to signal entrance location back in.
