This entrance reducer fits over the bottom entrance of a hive to prevent mice from entering while still allowing bees full access. It can also be flipped to close the entrance while still providing ventilation to the hive.
It is ideal for winterizing hives as it provides maximum protection against robbery.

Comes with 2 metal brackets to attach to the front of the hive.

Entrance Reducer/Mouse guard not wide enough

I ordered two entrance reducer/mouse guards . On delivery I found that they both were cut too short in the width by 1/2 inch which made for a sloppy fit. Also when they were turned to the position to not allow any bees to escape there was ample room for bees to come out.
