Why is the Turbo set to 260°C?
While other InstantVap units operate efficiently at 230°C, extensive testing shows that the Turbo is most effective, while being very fast, at 260°C. Here's an Oxalic acid and Formic acid exit fume summary
The InstantVap Turbo 18-20 vaporizer/sublimator is powered by your rechargeable batteries. It takes approximately 1 amp to heat the unit and then 0.15 amps for every 2-gram treatment. At 20°C ambient temperature, a 5-amp battery can treat up to 25 colonies or more with the optional insulation cover.
