The tank is well made and easily fits 30 frames with a bit of room to spare. Because the bottom is slanted almost all of the honey drips through the grate leaving wax behind. Although I had to drain the honey drippings a few times, the tank easily holds 10 gallons of cappings.
It comes with a spike bar for holding frames but I find it easier to simply hang the frame in the tank and uncap in place.
This tank really sped up my extraction because I have a 30 frame radial extractor so I was able to spin one set of 30 while uncapping another set of 30. Previously I had a 'hobby' tank which slowed thing down considerably.
I considered getting the top but decided against it for two reasons: first, it is way over priced, second the lid should consist of 2 or 3 sections instead of one large piece.
