This insulating pillow is an integral part of the Bee Cozy System. In winter it can be added inside a deep inner cover or shim to retain heat at the top of the hive and help conserve their food stores.

With an insulation rating of R6, it is a simple way to add an extra layer of protection against the cold.

NOTE: Do not remove the insulation pillow from the plastic bag.

No don’t buy this product

The actual product does not look like the images on this website. The actual product doesn’t fill the lid. You will need two of these per box to cover the lid area. As a single unit or a double they don’t fit nicely into the box.

Very disappointed in this product.
