Integrated Pest Management Workshop | Saturday, March 29th, 2025 9:30am

Prerequisites:

Basic knowledge of beekeeping practices or completion of the Beginner Beekeeping Workshop.

Subject Matter:

This workshop is designed to provide beekeepers with the tools and knowledge to manage pests and diseases effectively within their colonies. We’ll cover essential topics such as pest and disease biology and identification, monitoring techniques, record-keeping best practices, treatment options, and integrated pest management (IPM) strategies. Participants will leave with a comprehensive understanding of how to maintain healthy hives using sustainable and proactive approaches.

Time: 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM

All workshops take place at Dancing Bee Equipment, located one hour east of Toronto. Workshops are conducted in small groups of 12-15 people to ensure personalized instruction.
