Beginner Beekeeping Workshop | Saturday May 11th, 2024 1:30pm

Prerequisites:

An interest in honeybees. Any new beekeepers, or anyone thinking of keeping bees, or just curious.

Subject Matter:

Our aim is to equip the new beekeeper with the knowledge to successfully begin their rewarding new hobby. This is a great way to begin your beekeeping journey. We go over the beginner’s needs, what to look for, how to listen to your bees and many of the common mistakes made, (there are many of them) so new beekeepers can get off on the right foot. These lessons involve hands-on experience as well as ‘classroom’ learning. We provide you with protective clothing, but if you have your own, please bring it.

Time: 1:30pm

All Workshops take place at Dancing Bee Equipment, located one hour east of Toronto   our Workshops are in groups of max 12 people
