Prerequisites:

Beginner Beekeeping Workshop

Subject Matter:

We will delve into the basics of getting your honey supers off your hives, with hands-on demonstrations of various techniques. Followed by various methods of extraction made easy. Prepare to work and get sticky during this part.

Our beekeepers will also show you how to manage/arrange your hive after the honey is off, and how to get them ready going into the fall, to be sure they are well prepared for winter.  This will involve hands-on learning, and we will provide protective gear. However if you have your own protective gear, please feel free to bring it.

Time 9:30am

All Workshops take place at Dancing Bee Equipment, located one hour east of Toronto. Due to Covid restrictions, our workshops are in groups of max 12 people.
